Australian Credit Licence
In 2009 the Australian Government introduced further regulatory requirements for businesses that provide credit services to consumers / individuals – the National Consumer Credit Protection (NCCP) Act. Under this new legislation an Australian Credit Licence was required for anyone who provided credit assistance to clients obtaining finance for consumer purposes.
